Title: The Silent Language of Friends
Fandom: Digimon Adventure
Rating: G
Genre: Vignette
Words: 100
Notes/Warnings: Done for 'In a silent language' for
31_days.
Summary: Ken strives to be a good partner, and learns how to be a good friend.
Disclaimer: Digimon copyright BANDAI and this derivative work was created without permission.
Once Wormmon had returned to him, Ken found himself studying his Digimon's moods. He learned how to tell from his partner's eyes, the cant of his antennae, and tone of his voice what he was feeling, despite the differences between Leafmon, Minomon, Wormmon and Stingmon. It was part of not being the Digimon Kaiser, knowing and caring what his partner thought. Knowing and caring about someone besides himself.
It was only when Daisuke spoke to him outside the remains of the Kaiser's base, that Ken realized that the same silent language revealed human hearts as well.
