Title: Bokomon's Lesson
Series: Digimon Frontier
Rating: G
Genre: Comedy
Words: 267
Notes/Warnings: Spoilers for the end of Digimon Frontier. Done for 'And are for ever damned with Lucifer' for 31_days @ LJ.
Summary: Bokomon is set an important, yet irritating task -- prevent history from repeating itself.
Disclaimer: Digimon copyright BANDAI and this derivative work was created without permission.
Bokomon was abut ready to slam his head into a book. His familial devotion to Patamon -- Angemon now -- had its limits.
"No, no, no. The Legendary Warriors of Earth, Water, Metal and Wood had a duty to protect the Digital World. If they suspected that Cherubimon had been corrupted, and he had Darkness under his sway, it was their duty to help their fellow Legendary Warriors," Bokomon said. Again.
"But, really, the idea that the Beast Digimon where not being properly considered by Ophanimon and Seraphimon were reasonable. Even the two of them acting to bring others into the Digital World could have been seen as an attack."
"Yeah. How were they to know that the people from another world were the good guys?"
"That's right! I bet Yokomon doesn't have to listen to these dumb lectures."
Bokomon looked at the three of them -- Missimon, Motimon and Chapumon. Once known as Mercurimon of Metal, Grottomon of Earth, and Ranamon of Water . "If you don't understand this," he said, "you'll just end up having history repeat itself. And no one wants that." He paused, realizing he had only three of the four Junior Legendary Warriors. "Where are Neemon and Tanemon?"
"Outside," Chapumon volunteered.
Bokomon looked out of the window of their makeshift schoolroom. Neemon and Tanemon had set up a game board, and were playing checkers. Not well. "Stupidmon! You're supposed to be helping me."
"Oh," Neemon said, going back to his game.
"Always close the window. It saves energy," Tanemon added.
"I could be writing my book. Why me?" Bokomon laid his head on his desk and hoped today would be over soon.
