Winter always seems to make me homesick. I don't know if it's because everyone around me is getting ready for holidays, or it's just the cold, dark, short days. So a bit of an uncharacteristically-somber Sammi (an Asian student attending university in America) -- someone farther from home than I've ever been -- in the snow.
Medium is watercolor -- a mix of liquid and caked colors -- and masking fluid for the snowfall. There's also some watercolor pencil to enhance details.
Apologies for the lateness. I blame the holidays and unexpected computer trouble.
