Katara looked over. "Excuse me?"

They were seated next to a stream where Sokka was catching fish for dinner. "All my relationships end badly. First there was Princess Yue. Then, when I'd accepted that, I let myself fall for Suki. And, now she's a prisoner. She probably doesn't want to see me anymore, since I let my guard down because of her. If I even get there before..."

"Sokka," Katara placed her hand on his shoulder. "We're going to get them back. Suki, and Dad, and everyone. I promise."
