The week after Maes's funeral, Colonel Mustang had Furey hand out the new codebooks to the rest of the men. Obviously a code to anything other than casual eavesdroppers, but it was something. Phone lines could be tapped, after all.
Havoc was the first to come in about them. "Colonel, about the new code... All of you lines sound like you're talking to a date, not us."
He merely raised an eyebrow. "People think I talk to people on my office phone besides dates? I'll have to work on that."
