Filia watched Jillas play with Val through the window while she did the supper dishes. Val still was learning to walk on two legs, so he chased after the ball on all fours and balanced carefully on his hind legs to throw it back to Jillas. More often than not, he lost his balance and fell down. This seemed to be part of the game -- he laughed, and shouted "Again!" to Jillas as he stood up.
She had wanted to bring some peace to the Ancient Dragons for the crimes her people had committed. The game was her small victory.
